GREEN CARD REQUIREMENTS

What are the Requirements
for you (the employer) to sponsor your best and most valuable worker(s) to get their Green card?

  • The employer must pay the PREVAILING WAGE as determined by the government.   This is the first request/ document that file.

  • The employer must name the worker that is desired as the application process in specific to the individual and not a "blanket" petition.

  • The employer must pay for all costs associated with the entire process.  Costs can not be recovered from the worker/ candidate.

  • The employer must make certain that your worker does not have a criminal background or a troubled past with the Department of Homeland Security.......or else....your worker risks denial in the final stages of the process.

  • The employer must prove the ability to meet ongoing payroll requirements (typically through tax returns) for the worker(s) in which you are sponsoring.

  • The employer must prove a full time - year around need.   This is NOT a seasonal visa, but a PERMANENT work solution.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

While each individual case is different,  3 years - 3 1/2 years is an average processing time to get your worker(s) to your door.

Make no mistake.......this is a long and arduous process and you must be prepared to be patient while the comprehensive and intense process plays out.

HOW IT WORKS

  •  The "PERM" process stands for Program Electronic Review Management.

  • The PERM system is a government system used for obtaining workers on employment based visas to come to work for you here in the United States.

What the Green Card Company does for you?

  • We act as your authorized agent to handle the immigration forms and the recruitment processes to get you and your worker (s)  through the PERM process (also known as the "Green Card process".

About the Green Card Process

  • We only work with employment based visas known as the EB category.  Primarily our focus and attention is given specifically to the EB-2 & EB-3 categories.
